SELECTION PROCESS
The Challenge has 4 phases. Each participant adheres to the timing of the Challenge and saves the dates below.
Phase 1: Submit your project – deadline 30 August 2022
Participants wishing to take part in the Digital Innovation Challenge will need to submit their projects by mail to rea@cib.be before 30 August 2022.
Phase 2: First selection based on your submitted project - longlist of 10
The jury - composed of CIB Vlaanderen members and external experts - will be in charge of ranking the projects and select a longlist of ten participants. Each participant will be informed by mail at the latest 2 September whether they are longlisted or not.
Phase 3: Pitch your project – 6 September from 4pm (ORIS offices, Kortrijksesteenweg 1144 F, 9051 Sint-Denijs-Westrem) - shortlist of 3
The longlisted participants (10) will meet the jury and pitch their project. The jury will be in charge of ranking the projects based on the pitches and an additional Q&A. The 3 participants with the highest ranking/points are the finalists of this challenge. The points from the jury will count for 75% of the total votes. Each participant will be informed by mail at the latest 8 September whether they are finalist or not.
Phase 4: Announcement of the finalists – 29 September
The 3 finalists will present their solution at the Real Estate Awards Ceremony on 29 September. The live public will also vote during the Ceremony. These votes will count for 25% of the total votes. The finalist with the highest score (points jury + points live public) is the winner. In the case of an ex aequo the jury points are decisive. Voting result = 75% jury + 25% public.
